Vehicle Information
The "NISMO 400R" is a special complete car developed by NISMO based on the BCNR33 Skyline GT-R.
Officially unveiled at the 1996 Tokyo Auto Salon and released as a limited run of just 44 units priced at 12 million yen, it stands as a historic road car that epitomizes the NISMO brand.
Its defining feature is the "RB-X GT2" engine—a powerplant exclusive to the 400R that differs significantly from the standard RB26DETT.
With its displacement increased to 2,771cc, it generates a maximum output of 400 PS at 6,800 rpm and peak torque of 47.8 kg-m at 4,400 rpm.
This car represents the culmination of NISMO’s expertise; it was developed not merely to chase peak power figures, but—drawing on data from racing activities—to deliver strong torque and responsiveness in the low-to-mid RPM ranges, excellent drivability as a road car, and outstanding durability.
Beyond the engine, the vehicle incorporates a host of 400R- and NISMO-exclusive components throughout, including specialized aerodynamics, over-fenders, 18-inch wheels, suspension, a carbon-fiber propeller shaft, a twin-plate clutch, and a 320 km/h speedometer.
At GLOBAL AUTO, we do not offer this NISMO 400R for sale; instead, we maintain it as part of our **ULTIMATE COLLECTION**, preserving the history of the GT-R and the culture of NISMO complete cars for future generations.
